Middle School & Varsity Cheerleading

Our cheerleaders are coached by Mrs. Taylor Reeves. Coach Reeves is very passionate about her job and enjoys working with our girls. The cheerleaders are a great asset to our school, making our basketball season all the more exciting with cheers loud enough to raise the roof. They cheer for all home basketball games for our Varsity Boys and Girls’ basketball teams. The JCA cheerleaders are well known for their great school spirit.

Junior Varsity Girls’ Basketball

Our JV girls are coached by Mr. Sam Hodges and assisted by Mrs. Melissa Hodges and Mr. Craig Moore. Try-outs are in November.  Our girls start as young sixth grade learning about the game.

Junior Varsity Boys’ Basketball

Our boys in sixth through eighth grade go through try-outs in November. Watching our JV boys will give you a taste of the love and excitement boys show in their athletic endeavors.

Varsity Girls’ Basketball

In the 2020 season, our girls won Christian Testimony at the NCCAA conference tournament. We have had four players go on to play college level basketball. The varsity girls have been coached by Mr. Sam Hodges. He is assisted by Melissa Hodges and Craig Moore.

Varsity Boys’ Basketball

In the 2020 season, our varsity boys won Christian Testimony at the NCCAA conference tournament. The varsity boys are coached by Mr. Jeremy Rice.
