About Jacksonville Christian Academy

      Jacksonville Christian Academy was founded in 1981 as a ministry of First Free Will Baptist Church primarily to aid parents in following the Biblical mandate regarding the teaching and training of their children.

      Jacksonville Christian Academy is founded on the Bible (the Book of truth) and adheres to a Christian, traditional philosophy of education. We hold that Christian education is a mandate from God for the Christian family (Duet.6:6-9.) Recognizing that only a Christian education can provide the knowledge and wisdom necessary to prepare an individual for life, we believe that all teaching must harmonize with Truth (God and His Word- Matt.4:4;John 1:1;17:17;Rom. 3:4.) Therefore, the Holy Bible is the core of our curriculum.(The Abeka curriculum)

      Jacksonville Christian Academy has an active sports program including Girls‘ (Varsity and Junior Varsity) and Boys’ Basketball, Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer ,Varsity & Junior Varsity Volleyball, and Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleading. We are also included in the NCCAC Conference. Students at JCA also go on field trips to various places throughout the school year. There is an Aviation program for grades 8th-12th. Piano lessons are also offered for grades K4-12th. All of our curriculum at JCA is Christian-based. The enrollment at JCA is currently 220 students. We have an annual Spring Banquet for students in grades 7th-12th. We also have an annual Spring Play (Patch the Pirate).
